Members have a ball!

Fabulous food, great music and excellent company were the ingredients for a sensational end of season social for the 70 or so members and guests who gathered at Marine on Friday 1 June. With popular sounds of the 60's and 70's from the live music of the Silhouettes the evening got off to a foot stomping start, and despite it being a warm evening many took to the dance floor to jive along. Martin and his team of caterers provided a hot buffet par excellence with some delicious desserts, and the bar seemed to be doing very regular business! The customary grand raffle had numerous prizes, with the top prize being a generously donated £50 gift voucher to spend in Liverpool One. There is no doubt this was one of the best end of season socials the club has staged. Everyone seemed to have a great time, and the food, music and company were all top quality. Even if the Club is not the best at table tennis in the world, it must be pretty close to the best at putting on a really good party!

Below you will find a few pictures; in the video clip at the end see how many of the guests you can identify. Answers on a postcard please to the event organizer, Keith Hardman, and you never know the one with the most correct answers may also get a prize......any one for table tennis?

The entertainment was provided by the Silhouettes, and very good it was too encouraging many onto the dance floor.
