Eurovision fever
As Eurovision fever swept through Liverpool, it seemed that some club members were planning to stage a last minute entry! A remake of a 1969 classic, you can listen in to their final rehearsal here!
The occasion? An afternoon out in the Albert Dock with a lovely afternoon tea and a tour aboard the floating Grace. At Bath Street Marine we often refer to daytime table tennis as 'social' table tennis and every now and again we swap 'social' table tennis for other 'social' activities! This time it was an afternoon out, joining with the crowds in the Albert Dock area who were in town as part of the Eurovision programme. A great time to be out in Liverpool. Everyone met up at 'Madre' and there was even time for a journey on the merry-go-round!
Then it was all aboard the floating Grace, for a very informative tour around the dock area and a sumptuous afternoon tea. A great break from table tennis. But all will be back playing next week. Here are a few more pictures from the outing. A great thing this 'social' table tennis!
