Here We Go Again!
What a week it has been! The drama of the US Presidential election, multitudes of fireworks as we approach Guy Fawkes Night, Champions League Football - a great win for Liverpool FC! And, from Thursday 5 November, a second national lockdown in response to the ongoing corona virus pandemic!
Maybe you are untouched by any of these, and have simply been watching the weather - we've had torrential downpours of rain, hail, gusting winds, and even a few minutes of sunshine!
In case, in the midst of all these momentous events, you forget what our table tennis club looks like, I hope the short film below will remind you! Whatever situation you find yourself in at this point in time, if you are a member of Bath Street Marine Table Tennis Club, then you will need to know that from the 5 November we have had to close all table tennis activities as part of the fight against corona virus.
As has been said before, it is deeply disappointing to give this news. November will be the 5th month in our current year for which the club has been closed for reasons beyond our control. That seems to this writer to be almost as momentous as any of the events of this week! The club will remain closed until at least the 2 December.
We want to say 'thank you' to our members for your loyalty, keep the faith, and help us to be ready to re-open as soon as it is possible to do so safely. We will be back and with your help we will be better than ever before.
